Blanche's Roses

I designed a conceptual accodian fold book on Shiro Kuramata’s Miss Blanche chair, exploring its themes of transparency, fragility, and suspended beauty. Using Adobe Illustrator, I created custom floral illustrations that echo the floating roses sealed inside the original acrylic chair. I paired these visuals with refined typographic layouts to build a poetic, museum-inspired reading experience. The book blends research with my own creative interpretation, turning design analysis into a narrative about emotion, materiality, and illusion.
